- Design Process & Costs -

When it comes to Design, you may fall into one of two categories:

A) You know just what you want constructed and where. You've got a good idea of what you need and where you would like it built and now you are trying to figure out what your material options are or how large or small it should be etc. On our initial visit we can paint out the design right in your lawn so you can see the scale, traffic flow etc. If everyone is comfortable with the results, a quote can be generated on these dimensions...no need for a drawing.

or

B) Your not sure what you want or what your options are. Or sometimes you may not be able to envision exactly what the project would look like after its built. That's okay, especially if you've got a more complicated or larger project where you want to see many different options before you decide on a design. A professional landscape design may help you considerably.

TheProcess:

1. At our initial meeting we will determine together whether or not a set of Design Plans are needed.

2. If they are, the type of plans you will need is determined usually on the scale and scope of the project. Either a 8.5"x11" scale drawing (common for just a patio, or walkway, front entry etc.) or a 18"x24" scale drawing (common for large projects where the entire property is being designed.)

- Fees for drawings start at $300 for an 8.5" x 11"and $1000 for an 18"x24" drawing. CountryScape will credit your final construction invoice for any design payments made, up to $500 should you decide to go ahead with construction.

3. Once it is determined what kind of design we will be drawing up, Justin will take all of the required measurements needed to render a scale drawing of your property. From here a concept drawing will be produced and delivered including a quote to complete the project. You can expect the design to be ready within two weeks.

4. Once you review your design, you may contact CountryScape with any desired revisions. Revisions shall be made to your design at no additional cost and a second quote shall be made to reflect these revisions.

5. When you are satisfied with a final design, you may then choose to either go ahead with construction or wait until you are ready.

You own your design and may request additional prints or color copies for the cost of printing.
